Help Mohammed Alnjr Survive the Genocide in Gaza
United States
My name is Mohamed. I live in Gaza, and I am raising donations to care for my younger siblings and small nieces and nephews.
Since October 2023, Gaza has endured an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. More than 2.3 million people are trapped under siege — with no safety, no clean water, no functioning health care, no economy, and no safe shelter.
Aid convoys are rarely allowed in. When they arrive, people line up in desperation — and are often shot at. I was among them. I went to find food for the children, and I was shot at. I have the video. I survived. Many others did not.
We live in a tent. There is no electricity. No fuel. No clean water. A kilo of flour can cost $20 — if it’s available at all. Oil costs more than a doctor’s visit — if there were doctors left. And there are no jobs. None.
Despite everything, I try to give the children something that feels like childhood. We play with stones. We draw in the dust. We walk to the sea. I try to make them laugh, even if I feel like crying. Because I want them to feel joy, not just survival.
I started filming poetry and quiet moments from our life. Not to go viral. But to be seen. To remind the world that we are here. That we are human. That we are more than numbers.
I never imagined I’d ask strangers for help. But I have no choice.
This campaign is my attempt to survive — not just physically, but with dignity.
I am raising funds to: • Buy food and clean water • Get clothes, shoes, and hygiene supplies for the children • Pay for medicine • One day, find a safer place to live
If you’ve ever felt powerless watching the news — this is something real you can do. Even a small donation helps. Even one share gives us visibility. And visibility keeps us alive.
I am not a number. I am Mohamed. And I am still here — with love, with fear, with hope.
Thank you for seeing us.
